Tree Planting Volunteer Supervisors for Minnetonka Arbor Day
We are looking for a few TCAs to help supervise planting volunteers at the City of Minnetonka’s annual Arbor Day tree planting and celebration. The city will be planting 30 native trees at Kinsel Park with volunteers, and we are looking for people experienced in proper planting techniques to help lead the novice volunteers at the event. We’re hoping for 2-3 TCAs to fill that role. Here are the details:

Information Booth at the Plymouth Tree and Shrub Sale
Do you like inspiring new tree and shrub owners? Come help 200+ residents who have purchased bare root trees and shrubs in an online sale. After each resident has picked up their plant material, they are directed to the TCA & MG tent as they exit the distribution site. Your focus is on providing proper planting information, as well as other maintenance (staking, mulch, rodent protection, etc.) to guarantee successful planting in a heavy, clay soil. Plant material can be previewed at www.plymouthmn.gov/treesale
